A pretty town square with fountains and waterfalls, Bansko hosts over 300 restaurants and over 100 cultural monuments of historical interest.

There are numerous mountain trails leading to the lakes that nestle between the peaks.  Beautiful in summer or winter. 

Come and stay at 'The Monastery' 

Built in a traditional Bulgarian style and modelled on the famous 'Rila Monastery', the complex is situated near the gondola station, ten minutes walk to the restaurants and cafes. 

It's just 10 minutes' walk to the main gondola station.

Bookings do not have to be taken Saturday to Saturday.  Midweek bookings are available.  Tuesday to Tuesday is often a good time for cheaper flights.  Short stays possible.

Easyjet are now flying to Sofia - check out their really cheap fares from £50 return.  You can also try  Kelkoo or Bulgaria Air

Transfers from Sofia Airport to the apartment can be arranged for you, as can a welcome pack and ski equipment hire.

Transfer costs:  1 to 3 people 145 euros. 4 to 6 people 200 euros
