Renovating a property in Bulgaria
may seem like a huge task to take on, not only because of the distance
involved , but also the language difficulties.
But it can be as simple or as complicated
as you like - depending on the route you choose.
There are a few simple rules to bear
in mind. If you keep your feet on the ground, some patience in reserve,
and don't try to do everything on the cheap, then maybe you will keep your
sanity throughout the whole process!
To help people gain an insight into
how to renovate a property, I interviewed Andy Anderson, a partner of one
of Bulgaria's first property management companies -
Bulgarian Property Management. Andy first went to Bulgaria as a Technical
Engineer to take part in the United Nations' "Beautiful Bulgaria Project".
This project involved a team of engineers
renovating and restoring properties throughout the towns and cities of
Bulgaria. It was here that Andy gained his valuable knowledge and
made many useful contacts in the industry.
As a result of this interview, I
have produced a double audio CD set to help others in their journey to
turn their newly acquired property into what may be their dream home.
